Booking aerialists and acrobats in Dubai starts with the ceiling
Aerial is a rigging decision before it is a casting decision. Silks, hoop and straps need clear height above the performance area and a certified point that can take a dynamic load. Venues in Dubai differ widely. Some ballrooms have engineered points and generous height. Others have a low grid, a chandelier in the wrong place, or a ceiling that no venue engineer will sign off on. We ask about this early, because the answer changes what we propose and what we plan with you.
If the venue supports aerial, the options open up. Silks and hoop for slow, sculptural work above the room. Straps for power and speed. Duo aerial for lifts that still read from the back of the hall. If the venue does not support it, our answer is not a smaller aerial act squeezed into the space. It is a different discipline.
Ground acrobatics when aerial is not possible
Cirque style ground work needs floor, not height. Acrobatic duos, hand to hand, contortion, cyr wheel and tumbling deliver the same held breath moment without a single rigging point. Outdoor terraces, low ceilinged lounges, mall atriums with nothing to anchor to, temporary stages: most of them can still carry a specialty act. We look for a discipline that suits the room, rather than forcing the room to fit the act.

The discipline is chosen before the performer
We look at the space, the guests, the timing, and the feeling the event needs to create. A gala dinner with a seated crowd and long sightlines usually wants something vertical and slow. A product launch wants speed and a clean reveal beat. A private celebration in a villa is often better served by ground work performed close to the guests. Only then do we cast from our network of handpicked performers, and we brief the artist in writing. Where a moment needs to be built rather than booked, it becomes a custom show concept with its own choreography, costume direction and cue sheet, which asks for more lead time and more planning.

Short scheduled moments, not continuous background
Aerial and acrobatics are hero acts. They work in a few minutes, announced by a lighting change and a music cue, and then they clear. Run them continuously and the effect flattens, because guests stop looking up. We normally place one or two of these moments across an evening, timed against the parts of the night that already hold attention: the reveal, the walk back in after dinner, the handover from speeches to the party. Between them, roaming entertainment and live music carry the room at a lower volume. The aim is contrast, not saturation.
What the coordination looks like
Specialty acts need close technical coordination and leave little room for improvisation. That means rigging and load in conversations with the venue, height and point confirmation in advance, warm up and changing space, mats and spotters where the act requires them, and cues agreed with the AV and lighting team before doors open. None of it is complicated, but it does need to be agreed rather than assumed. Beautiful entertainment needs proper planning. We keep communication clear, coordination smooth, and the act ready when the moment comes.
